1. About Shipping & Returns on This Platform

This platform brings together handmade creations, consulting work, and stories through Stray to Stay.
Only handmade products are shipped physically. Consulting and Stray to Stay do not involve physical shipping.

If something here feels unclear, you’re always welcome to write in before placing an order.

2. Handmade Work & Shop

Shipping Timelines

All products are 100% handmade and prepared thoughtfully.

  • Orders are usually processed within 3–7 working days, unless mentioned otherwise on the product page
  • Shipping timelines may vary depending on location and external factors
  • Once dispatched, you’ll receive relevant shipping details (where applicable)

Handmade work moves at a human pace. Thank you for allowing space for the process.

  • Currently shipping within India
  • If international shipping becomes available, it will be clearly mentioned on the shop page
Shipping Charges
  • Shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed clearly at checkout
  • Any additional charges (if any) will be communicated transparently
Packaging

I use minimal and eco-friendly packaging wherever possible. The focus is on safety, sustainability, and reducing waste – not excess.

Returns & Exchanges

Because each piece is handmade, returns and exchanges are handled with care and fairness.

  • Returns or exchanges are considered only in case of damaged or incorrect items
  • Requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the product
  • Please share clear photographs and details to help assess the issue

Each request is reviewed personally and addressed thoughtfully.

What Is Not Eligible for Return
  • Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish
  • Natural irregularities that are inherent to handmade work
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces (unless damaged)

These variations are part of what makes handmade work unique.

Refunds
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe
  • Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the issue is from our end

3. Consulting & Advisory Services

Consulting services do not involve physical delivery or shipping.

  • Engagement details, timelines, and deliverables are discussed and agreed upon before work begins
  • Since consulting is advisory and context-specific, refunds are generally not applicable once an engagement has commenced

Any exceptional situations are handled with open communication and fairness.

4. Stray to Stay

Stray to Stay is not a commercial offering.

  • There are no products, adoptions, or donations processed under this section
  • Any references to support through handmade work are voluntary and non-transactional

No shipping or returns apply here.

5. Delays & External Factors

While every effort is made to ship orders on time, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Courier disruptions
  • Local or regional circumstances

In such cases, communication will be honest and transparent.
